College
Created | Updated Apr 17, 2002
A common destination of recent graduates of secondary school.
Traditionally, parents pay as much money as they can possibly afford to a college in the hopes that their college-bound offspring will study hard, abstain from all distractions, and earn a degree on time or, if possible, early. These days, a growing number of people use government and bank loans to pay for this peaceful and contemplative experience themselves.
Whichever means of payment is used, all recent college graduates are almost certain to hear frequently (at least once a month) from one or both of the following for several years:
1. Family
2. Lending institutions
