Back in 2002 for the 100th Post, Wowbagger pointed out that, on average, most researchers will contribute 45 words to the Official Guide.
Intrigued by this idea, Demon Drawer decided to expand on this thought a little and produced a series in which he attempted to describe the lives of prominent people in just 45 words—not the easiest task in the world! On this day in history the original 13 colonies of the United States expanded for the first time so today we look at a place that is the 14th State.
Vermont Admitted to the Union 4 March 1791
Originally French colony before lost to the Brits.
Named for green mountains the fourteenth state,
Only inland New England one.
State with the smallest largest city.
Famous for scenery and rich in maple syrup.
Though small has provided two Presidents
also fictionally Polyanna and Newhart.
