It's getting warm.

Getting warm for the ecosystem.

Getting warm as the talks all flounder in The Hague;

Getting warm 'cause we know that pressure makes hot air;

Getting warm, though the forecasts of how warm are vague;

Getting warm and the global businesses don't care.

It's getting wet.

Getting wet for the whole of England.

Getting wet from Vale of York to Sussex plains;

Getting wet on protestors who want cheaper fuel;

Getting wet at the fall of hundred-year high rains;

Getting wet while Yanks and Europeans duel.

It's getting bad

Getting bad for our children's children.

Getting bad for the fishermen who find no fish;

Getting bad for those living near rivers or sea;

Getting bad for the future yet we're still selfish;

Getting bad for you, and it's getting bad for me.

Give the Earth a great deal

And it won't need a lot,

But we have to get real

Before it starts getting hot.
