I do not have any records of people regularly using gin (for whatever reason).

Abusers

• Dean Martin is said to have said the following: "You are not drunk if you can lay on the floor without holding on." I guess that makes him a genuine abuser of alcohol. I am not sure about the gin part, but I suggest, has had a few G&T's...
• WC Fields is said to have said the following:
  
  • "'Twas a woman drove me to drink. I never had the courtesy to thank her."
  • "I never drink anything stronger than gin before breakfast."
  • "Gin, it was as mother's milk to me" (no link for that found, but it fits right in)
