Lost Passwords

Hmm this page is now out of date.... probably best ignored but I'll leave it here for historic reasons.

:-) If you have a new or converted h2g2 account and you can remember your BBC login name and your email address (but not your BBC password), then you should visit myBBC at http://www.bbc.co.uk/mybbc from where you can get your password mailed to you.

All you need to do it click on the 'forgot password?' link.

Your BBC password is the only piece of information that the h2g2 staff can't get hold of currently, so you'll *have* to go through myBBC to get a new password.

:-) If you've forgotten any other critical piece of information, like your BBC login name, your original password, your h2g2 email address, or anything else you need, then you should email [email protected] with as much information as you can remember (ideally including your U number).

The team will email you all the details you require, but it might take a couple of days.

Hope this helps :-)

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
