Welcome to the Great Easter Egg Hunt 2002

For more years than I care to remember I have been hiding Easter Eggs in strange places and watching people enjoying themselves looking for them. When someone told me about the fun loving community here at h2g2, I thought it must be the perfect place for an Easter Egg Hunt.

If you like:

• chocolate
• having fun
• solving puzzles
• all of the above

So if you would like to win some Easter Eggs here is how:-

During the Easter Weekend a series of trails to find Easter Eggs will be placed on pages linked from this one.

Follow the clues to the find the correct Guide Entries.

There is an Easter Egg for the first person to solve each of the clues and post a link to the correct Guide Entry in the conversation threads that will be started on each set of clues.

When you find the correct entry you will be asked to collect a letter from its title. Anyone who posts the letters in the conversations for an entry will be disqualified from that trail and may even have their Easter Eggs taken away

When you have solved all the clues for a trail rearrange these letters to make a word or phrase. Email these to the Easter Bunny at [email protected]

Those who correctly solve the anagrams will each receive an additional Easter Egg, and there will be a special prize for the person who solves each quickest!

As well as no spitting the only other rule is that the Easter Bunny is always right and my decision is final

All the trails have been set up now and I will accept answers to the anagrams until noon on Sunday 7 April 2002 (UK time) Then I will be able to publish the final results
