Clubs and Bars in Savannah

Down on River Street in the famous and almost infamous "Chuck's". This small bar is usually referred to as "Chuck's Hole in the Wall". It is an intimate place with a strange decor. Oh yeah, it is a gay bar. It is a gay bar in the Savannah style. This means all people are welcome to come in and mix.
Just off of the intersection of MLK and Bay Street is the truly infamous Loading Doc. This building actually has Savannah's only "city style" Club Equinox. CE@The Loading Doc has a $5 general admission cover for the entire club. This includes the floor show on Saturday night. See http://www.theloadingdoc.com about the Venus Stellar Cabaret. It has no rivalry with Chuck's. They are great bars to bounce back and forth from.
Coming soon is the wine bar/social club called Isabella's. It is going to be in the Loading Doc building. I know the couple (Isabella and Blue) that is opening the bar and I have helped part of the setup. A lot of people are buzzing about this place.
