Magical, Mystical March Matters

Did Einstein like pi for his birthday?14 March is Pi-Day. You know, 3.14... (Groan.) It's also Albert Einstein's birthday. Einstein was sort of a magical, mystical fellow, so we've taken it as a theme this week.

Of course, h2g2 is full of magic and mysticism. Our writers find magic in all sorts of places, like the double-headed eagle statue somewhere in Austria. Like the bullfrog in South Africa. Like...well, we'll let you find the magical bits yourself.

Another magical event this week is the arrival of a new 'Paper Cuts' cartoon by Spimcoot. We appreciate.

We've got two quizzes for you this week, so activate the brain cells. If you have photos (and questions to go with them), send them in. We live and learn.

Happy Pi-Day, everyone!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
