45 words: A king for Netherlands

0 Conversations

Back in 2002 for the 100th Post, Wowbagger pointed out that, on average, most researchers will contribute 45 words to the Official Guide.
Intrigued by this idea, Demon Drawer decided to expand on this thought a little and produced a series in which he attempted to describe the lives of prominent people in just 45 words—not the easiest task in the world! Tomorrow sees the first man to sit on the throne of the Netherlands since the death of William III in 1890, so who is the man born to be King.

King William-Alexander (Born 1967; Reign from 30 April 2013)

First male born into Royal Orange line since 1851

His education included being for two years a Prince in Wales

Marathon runner and ice skater

Married to an Argentinean

After third successive Queen's abdication now Netherland's King

But with three daughters next up another Queen
