OK... got to think of something to fill this space... don't want a 'this researcher could not be ars*d to write anything' message sitting here to greet people...

I like reading (I read pretty much anything - except Mills & Boon / Jackie Collins / Jilly Cooper), writing (I'm hoping to be the next JK Rowling.... actually, being the first me would be more fun), keep-fit (well, I try, anyway), and am interested in spiritual matters (I know I need to acknowledge my spiritual side, but can't decide where my allegiance lies yet)

I live in sunny (yeah, right) Bolton, England..... and previously worked as a Java Developer (so am considered by all who know me to be a geek... which I'm quite proud of, actually), but retrained over the last year to become an ICT teacher at Secondary school level....
