Welcome to my page! My name is Alisha, and I live in Longview, Washington. I'm 17, and a senior at Robert A. Long High School. My interests are books, antiques, types of cheeses, classic and modern high performance cars, aromatherapy and herbs in massage and medicine, linguistics and foreign languages (This school year will be my fourth year in Spanish), human sexuality, spirituality, and psychology, and also politics. My musical tastes include classic rock, contemporary rock, a tiny portion of country, a tiny portion of 80's, Big Band from the 40s, authentic swing, Motown from the 60s and other oldies, and some blues. The Eagles is my favorite band. I also like the old Aerosmith, Bruce Springsteen, Steely Dan, Bob Seger,The Jeff Healey Band, Gregg Allman, Nazareth, and many others. I'd have to say for oldies, my favorite is Johnny Rivers. I'm always finding out he sings the songs I really like, it's kind of strange, actually. "Who sings that one?" "Johnny Rivers." "How about that one?" "Johnny Rivers" I really need to buy his CD. I also like The Drifters, The Righteous Brothers, and The Platters. On TV, I seem to only watch anything Drew Carey is in, and also Emergency Vets, police programs, Investigative Reports, Life In the ER and other health/emergency response shows (I also have an interest in medicine), Northern Exposure and Murder She Wrote, Spanish soap operas like "Amor Gitano" which means Gypsy Love, and stand up comedy. For movies, I tend to gravitate toward the coming-of-age stories. I like romance and humor. Top Gun, Dirty Dancing, The Cure, Austin Powers, and Grumpy Old Men are among some of my favorites. I also like Strictly Ballroom. Some foreign films I like are: Babette's Feast, Europa Europa, and Like Water for Chocolate (probably my favorite). Some other random facts about me: We have a dog named Hannah, a dwarf gerbil named Little Bear (he's not mine, he creeps me out), and a few fish ponds. I'm not into violence :) and I'm politically liberal. I'm lefthanded. Only ten percent of the world is lefthanded, you know. I'm extremely anti-alcohol and drugs, to the point where I glare at my mother if she has a glass of wine. My birthstone is ruby, flower is larkspur. My favorite flowers are wisteria and honeysuckle, though. And bluebonnets. Family is very important to me, however, I do not plan on having children. And I absolutely hate math!
