Oh I'm sorry you woke me. No no do come on in. Are you cold? Here, let me envelope you in my warm quilty folds....Nice cup of tea perhaps? I'm sure I had some bourbons around somewhere, I try to keep them near the bed otherwise I fall out when I get peckish...No? Well why don't you just make yourself comfy while I grab a quick forty winks....*
(Yawn) I must say I'm ever so grateful for this little space, the first real place of my own I've ever really had. You all make me feel so welcome.

*Please note that thehumanduvet is going through a bit of a delicate patch at the moment. Having survived for several years with little or no discernable movement, I am now forced out into the world, to fend for myself, eking out a perilous existence on the edge of society, pitting my wits against a cruel and unjust world, prostituting my meager and atrophied mind for a handful of pennies each month. The mental and moral degradation this brings is having a terrible effect on morale, depressing thehumanduvet's normally jolly and bouncy mood into one of grim despair, lethargy and prolonged games of patience. One day this dark period will pass, and I will emerge triumphant from my couch of gloom, to lead the merry life on the great bed of success and joy, and there will dancing in the streets and merriment of all kinds. Until then, please bear with me.
