Lurking not Posting

Just in case anyone's interested, I am still about. Just. An occasional visit to check up on progress in Things Thingite, every now and again checking to see if anyone is sustaining the Deja Vu thread, that sort of thing. But the old stuff below still sums up What's Going On in the crazy world of Narapoia - it's just more procrastination in a different location. Thank god for Spider Solitaire, eh?

Displacement Central

Once upon a time there was a personal space that read "This is where I come when I'm meant to be Doing Other Things." Then that space had to go away because the researcher was very bad at Doing Other Things, such as studying for her Open University course.

But eventually there came a day when the course was finally over and the researcher handed in her last assignment with a big Sigh of Relief.

"Whe-hey!" she said. "Woo and Yay and smiley - alesmiley - alesmiley - ale all round!"

So then there was much more time for the important little things that keep us all sane, like campaigning for Commom Sense to Prevail and the replacement of the ridiculously outmoded names of the days of the week

Liberté Egalité Fraternité Insanity

But then Reality struck, and the nasty people decided that it was time for Narapoia to go back to working Full Time, instead of just 3 days a week. So now she doesn't come here very often, as she's too busy procrastinating somewhere else. But if you want to leave her a message she will happily get back to you when she gets round to it...
