HippieChick, Earth researcher for more than 25 years
More than 25 years ago, on August 19, 1978, I arrived on this planet, wet, screaming, and wanting more than anything else to go back to the secure, if lonely, place from which I'd arrived. Needless to say, the place has grown on me. I've spent most of my time here researching and reporting on the confused inhabitants and their environment of this fascinating little isolated swamp known as Earth. I've pondered thousands of questions concerning life on this planet, and while I have no real answers to these questions, I've become quite adept at the very human art of posing new questions instead. At least they're interesting questions.
Some people call me HippieChick, even though I'm a guy. Some people call me Erik. With any luck, people will be calling me Dr. Wennstrom before too much time has passed.
I haven't been active on H2G2 in quite some time. Maybe I'll pick it up again. Maybe not.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
