Who am us, anyway? The Empress of Beads!

We are the Empress of Beads. We have a regular wage-earning identity during the day, but when evening falls, soft as a child's kiss (or hard as a rock, whichever the case may be), we seek a quiet spot to sit down and do beadwork. Often, however, we are not successful. Like many Empresses, we have obligations at the castle (keeping the Tsaritsa and Tsarevitch alive and loved, scrubbing the trenchers, laundering the royal clothes, mucking out the stable, cleaning toilets, trying to persuade the royal pooch that we are not interested in mating with him) that leave us little leisure time.
