Hello there, i've decided to update my intro, since everyone else seemed to have written a darned huge amount, especially compared to the two lines i'd written.
Anyway, best start with ordinary biographical stats. I was born in 1980, in September. I was born in Hertfordshire, in Welwyn Garden City to be precise, but was brought up in Hertford. I'm about 5' 10" ish, and have the build of a toast rack on a broom handle.
Right, that was the stats, here's my interests:
As anyone who's looked at my articles will testify, I really, really like Black Sabbath. So much so that I've decided to collect their albums on CD and record. Not doing too badly so far, got seven on vinyl and nine on CD. Other stuff you can probably glean from my articles is that I like thrash metal, particularly Metallica, and Guinness, indeed beer in general. In fact, I like rock and metal in general as well. I'm a very general person. I'm studying Chemistry at Cardiff University (full name University of Wales, Cardiff Campus or something), so I suppose I have an official interest in chemistry. I also like cars, and am one day hoping to write an encyclopaedia on cars. I can't drive yet (well, I can, I just haven't got the bit of plastic that proves it), but hopefully at some point I'll take my practical.
I also like reading Terry Pratchett and Robert Rankin books, among other authors like Tom Clancy. I'm about half-way through Lord of the Rings, a position I've been at for the past year or so. I also have a liking for eighties childrens cartoons, such as Thundercats and Transformers. Anything tacky, strange, or seemingly useless also finds its way into my possession, usually without my remembering it getting there (not as a result of Guinness, by the way). I also write sentences which are too long, and in art my teacher always criticised me for drawing stupidly detailed yet minutely small pictures. Hmm, I wonder if minutely small actually means really massive? Hope not. I also like computers (obviously), not enough to program them or anything, just to play games and generally be able to use them without pooing up. Unlike the IT teacher at our school, who thought computers would break if they exited Windows.
How about things that I hate? Well, I'd like not to divulge such things, since that may irritate and possibly offend some people. But just let me say two words which sum up quite a large portion of things I despise: boy bands. There, I said it.
Anyway, I hope you like my biographical masterpiece. If you didn't, well, I don't blame you, I'm very good at rambling on pointlessly. But at least my intro is now longer. Perhaps I'll make it even longer one day (!!!!)
