Me, a writer in an office worker's body.

Hi,
I'm 29 years old, and live in Buckinghamshire in England.
I studied English and Philosophy at Swansea University. While I was there I had an idea for a music video. Then it turned into a novel, and then a film.
I've started to write it a number of times but always failed.
2 years ago I met my wife (married 24th April 2004) and she has encouraged me to write. I have a dead end job which I don't like, and she thought it'd give me a purpose. It has!
I struggled to find things to write, I didn't want to try to re-write my big idea stright away.
A few months back we were discussing wedding presents for each other. She asked me to write her a short story. WOW, my first commission. She gave me the title "Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder."
I finished the piece - 10,000 words - a few days before the wedding and gave the manuscript to her the night before as she left to spend the night at her parents' house.
Now I'mm looking for someway of publishing it, and for new inspiration. . .

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
