I Like To Watch

Until I can find the time to write something more substantial, here's me in a nutshell: I was born on the 29th May 1975--which makes me a Gemini (for the more cosmically-minded among you) and also means that I get to share my birthday with famous people such as G.K. Chesterton (1874) and John F. Kennedy (1917), as well as infamous people such as LaToya Jackson (1956) and Mel B from the Spice Girls (1975)... eek!

As I write this entry on June 15, 2000, I can sit back and say that I have completed primary school, high school, university and have been working as an IT journalist in Sydney for around four years.

In my current role, I do almost as much editing as writing, so I'm tempted to use what talent I have and apply to be an editor here at the guide... or maybe not! The thought of editing in my spare time is pretty damn horrifying!

Gosh... what else? I married my sweetheart Anna in April of this year and am currently living in a gorgeous little house with a pond of fish in the backyard.

My favourite TV shows include Doctor Who, Babylon 5 and Sharpe. In movies, the Star Wars trilogy, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and other assorted silly, arty, homemade, big-budget, small, epic, funny and dramatic movies float my boat.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
