The h2g2 Poem

This end is so cold; the other end is warm

Why must I stay here just because it is right?

They shun me just because I might

The torment, it is so long and hard

My spirit is just a little shard

Just because it is wrong should I not go?

'It just is not done' — well, so?

I hate this side and all stupid rules

It is run by idiots and many fools

The other side may hurt or even destroy me

But then I will at least be free

I would give up my every breath

Just so I could embrace death.
