Brief explanation of "Scream"

The "Scream" is an imensly powerful psychological weapon. The "Scream" disrupts logical thought and forces the enemy to cower in a pool of their own cold sweat. The "Scream" is often used at the beginning of a battle to frighten the enemy so that they have little or no time to escape the opening volley, it is a truly devestating weapon.

Hyperspace Phase Engine

The hyperspace phase engine is used both to enter hyperspace and as a stealth system. Instead of opening a jump point to enter hyperspace like most ships do, the Shadows phase through the fabric of space into hyperspace. When they half phase, the ship exists in both realms, can scan and moniter them, and cannot be seen by anyone less than a First One.
