A Tale of Two Wise Men

When young and full of questions,

Kneeling at Grandpa's knee

I learned of one whose wisdom

Marked him out in history

I think he was Italian

Judging by his name

Cause every question that I asked

I would hear the same refrain,

Gordoni knows, Gordoni knows

and Gordoni knows again.

Years later in the army I

Learned of a wiser man

Who judging by his name

I took to come from Vietnam

When it came to answered questions

By an incredible stroke of luck

What Mr Gordoni didn't know

was known by Mr Phuk.
