Courtesy is catching

1 Conversation

Humans have a rare disease spreading in their culture. It is difficult to isolate where it first originated but it is easy to see how it is spread.
It is called Courtesy, and it comes in many forms, the most common being a selfless act of politeness upon another Human. At this point the receiving human may be infected with courtesy for a shor or long period of time, or not at all.
It all depends how much of another virus they have in their system. This virus is called Selfishness. Enough courtesy can supress or sometimes kill the selfishness, although some humans are too far gone and should be put down for their own good and the good of others.
Those who have caught Courtesy find that the symptoms can be alleviated if they spread the disease to others
