Decorating Tip of the Week: Salt Candle

Decoration made of an old jar and a candle, by Mrs FWR.

  1. Clean glass with alcohol or white spirit.
  2. Coat with thin layer of glue. (Wife used modpodge. Which is a craft glue over here, basically pva with a 1/3 extra water.)
  3. Roll in Epsom Salts and leave to dry. Decorate with ribbon.
  4. Either leave lid off if using tea light, or use decorated lid with an electric candle.
