The Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy - The Adventure Game
A fantastic interactive fiction game from Douglas Adams.
Now a classic, this game still compares favourably to modern titles (except for the graphics - there aren't any).

You can play the game online at the douglasadams.com website
Unfortunately, you will not be able to save your game as you progress. This can get frustrating!

If you need a hint download the h2g2 invisiclues file and open it with WinFrotz
If you get lost, try the h2g2 map
Do try and solve the problems yourself first though, as that is what makes the game so enjoyable.
