Soo, you think you can swim hmm?
...well maybe the water simply isn't deep enough then. Ever thought about that? That maybe, just maybe, you aren't really swimming at all. Maybe you are just wading through the sea of life?? Kinda like a Sunday afternoon spent splashing around in a kiddies wading pool in the back garden, you get wet but, well, it's not really counted as swimming is it?
Can I swim? Nope! Ohhh I know all the fancy schmancy strokes that you get taught from the moment you can walk but as for "knowing" how to actually make headway through the breakers, well....lets just say I can keep my head above the water long enough to grab a breath before the next wave hits.
Would I ever choose to paddle back into the shore to wade in the safer waters? Nope! Can't see the point in standing thigh deep in water, looking out to the wild blue yonder, wishing I was there...when I'm already here.

I know, I know.....I have chosen an unusual way to introduce myself but I kinda figured that the few well chosen words above probably tell you more about "who" I am than if I had written...
Hello...My name is Penny, I'm a 39 year old Aussie lassie, who likes to cook, spend time with her babes and make teddy bears! Sure those things are an important part of this woman...but they belong to my physical world. There is nothing physical about "in here"...it's all about people on the level of "thought". And it's awesome!
Having almost drowned several times, speaking both metaphorically and in actuality, has given me several things - the deepest respect for the ocean, for life, and a hunger for the answers...and I know it's more than 42! 56 perhaps? Whatever...that is the reason I am here, sharing this thought space with you. Your thoughts may just be words on a screen....or maybe they could be the next stroke in this marathon I am swimming.
