Sailing the seas of earth

There are not many things I would rather do than sail. I have sailed for 20 years now and hope that I will be sailing another 20 - 50 years.

If in 20 years I will be sailing the universe, well that will do, but I would rather hitch the universe and sail the seas of Damogran, if there is any wind there! Now that I seem to be stranded on this computer called earth, I'll sail its seas! I have sailed very many of Slartibartfasts fjords, here in Norway, and I must say he's done a great job.

There is, but one thing that is negative when it comes to Norway and sailing: the summers are far to short and sailboats cost far too much! If ever in Norway, in summer time, try to get out onto the fjords. The best way is in my opinion is by sailing. You will then get as close as possible to nature. You'll be using natures, or the computer Earth's, own motor. You'll have time to enjoy the, always, changing nature, and get soaking wet in lovely seawater. Boy, there is nothing like a shower after a week or twos’ sailing. You feel as you've lost half you body weight. Of course, many of the bigger and modern sailing boats have showers on board, and to be honest, it's the most preferable, but it will not stop me from sailing, week in and week out, if there isn't!

To all of you that have not tried sailing yet, your missing out on something big. To you that have tried and not liked it: try it again with someone else under different circumstances.
