Camillu from Malta
Camillu is a Maltese twenty-something year-old who should be studying medicine but instead is writing this introduction. He is writing this introduction beacuse he has just finished reading 'The Salmon of Doubt' which contained various references to this website, and which camillu had made around 23 mental notes to check out. 5 minutes ago, camillu checked his e-mail, and there were no new messages (yes, he does have friends - he had previously checked his mail 20 minutes ago). So while staring at the screen wondering which url to type into the address bar, all those mental notes came fluttering back into view. So here he is.
At the time of writing, he hasn't had time to browse through the many entries that seem to be available, but he has grapsed more or less what this website is about, and having read the 5 hitchhiker books, he thinks that this site is a great idea. So now he has a small dilemma as to whether to finish this intorduction and browse around, or to simply finish this introduction, add this site to his favourites, and then continue studying.
The latter option is undoubtably the more responsible one, considering that camillu is a 5th year medical student with the biggest and most important exams of his life looming on the horizon. Also, he has made plans to go watch Chicago at the cinema this evening, so unless he gets any work done within the next 2 hours, the day will end with him having only notched up around 1 hour of studying.
Camillu has just decided that this intro has reached a more-or-less acceptable length, and that the act of writing it has made him realise what a clear-cut choice option number 2 should be. He will therefore end this little intro within the next few sentences, and go up to his room to revise some general surgery.
On that positive note he is now writing the line that comes before the goodbyes.
