I have been stuck on this planet for nearly fortysix(!?) years. So I am really happy to have found h2g2. I live in Gothenburg on the Swedish westcoast. I am the proud mum of two 20 year young radicals, and also proud "plastic-mum" to a 25 year old "plastic-son"
I am working at a primary school as a teacher in, what in Britain I think would be called, an "after school club". That works different in Sweden. After school care is integrated in school, we have a whole day programme, for the youngest children in school. This is an adaptation to the fact that in most families both parents work.
I am intrested in human beings especially young ones -children and teenagers because I appreciate their creative minds and positive approach to life, universe and everything...
I try to see a lot of film, read interesting books, see my friends and take care of my family.
Aspects of life, universe and everything that makes me happy: my life-companion and our kids, a cold starry night at winter, dark chocolade, a bathtub, the Clash, Thåström, Patti Smith, solidarity, good friends and open minds...
These following things really makes me sad and/or angry: chauvinism, injustices, breadcrumbs in my bed, George W Bush, violence, adults that doesn´t take good care of children and when we lose in handball...
