Today should have been the 56th Birthday of Farrokh Bulsara a holder of a Diploma in Graphic Art and Design from Ealing College of Art, but you don't want to know that about him.

Freddie Mercury 1946-1991


Born in Zanzibar, before India and England.

Fellow art student Tim Staffell introduced May and Taylor.

1971 Queen was born. Eighteen successful albums.

Freddie's theatrics made videos memorable.

In 1991 he announced he had AIDS the day before he died.

Theme for the Barcelona Olympics.


Later this month we say goodbye to the esteemed editor of H2G2 Mr. Mark Moxon, so as a tribute why don't you try and sum up Mark Moxon in 45 words, not a word more not a word less.
