Flat Iron Joe
His name was Flat Iron Joe
And he came from the Wild West
He was a lawman of good repute
And with his guns was best
He went to Dodge Town City
Gunning for Scar Faced Smith
They shot it out at high noon
And Flat Iron didn't miss
He formed a posse by the OK Corral
Bent on seeing justice done
He followed the bad men all over the state
Until they gave up to his gun
He rubbed shoulders with the western greats
With Wild Bill, Doc Holiday and more
He even had a romantic walk with Calamity Jane
A girl of the like he had never encountered before
He gave up his badge and settled down with a wife
Raised a family of four daughters and a son
He brought them up knowing right from wrong
He was strict, but he also knew how to have fun
Flat Iron had a good life
Eventually becoming Mayor
And all the folks for miles around
Said he was good, and kind and fair
