This material is not for the faint-hearted. You have been warned.

Here be spooky things. Let the faint-hearted beware.

A Northern Irish Mystery

Malabarista's a busy person these days. She's studying (architecture) in Belfast, and she's learning a lot about the landscape, people, and history of Northern Ireland. The problem is, everywhere she goes, she runs into ghosts.

This is what comes of all that re-enacting.

I think the ghosts are trying to tell her something. First, there were the spooky critturs rattling chains and knocking down paintings at the National Trust. Now she's found weird stuff going on in the archaeology department. The item pictured below was 'floating' – her word – over a sink there. It's ancient. It also has a hole in it. We suspect foul play.

What do you suspect? Start a thread and tell us what your detective sense tells you.
