I am a bloke of 33 years and some months. I live in Leicester, UK.

I grew up through the 70s and 80s on a diet of Star Trek, Asterix books, Hitch-Hiker's Guide and large amounts of mental and physical freedom afforded by my otherwise distracted parents and the relatively less paranoid and be-motorvehicled(?) society than we live in today.

My school reports are full of things like 'Could do much better if only he applied himself' and 'Spends more time gazing out of the window than at the blackboard' and 'The covers of his workbooks are a fascinating work-in-progress, shame there is so little inside them'

I was drawn to computers by their capacity to render graphics, visual art being one of my most favoured applications of my overactive imagination. I spend much time in the world of computers as I can indulge several creative interests using these swissarmyknife-like tools, aswell as using them as a gateway to all sorts of information I never realised I wanted to know.
