Keep Smiling

Clancy the cat with cool pillow. Clancy the cat is reminding you to keep smiling. No matter how the weather's treating you, or how grumpy you're feeling about the weather, or how much you have to do (are there really only 24 hours in a day?). Clancy takes it all in stride, and makes sure to log some 'me time' with his favourite pillow. He's a cool internet-savvy kitteh, and now he's on our webpage, too.

Our contributors have also found some cool ways to relax this week. Willem's painted us a beautiful partridge, and shares its bio. SashaQ went on holiday, and found some pretty birds, too. Sasha also remembered to take photos (and you should, too). Enjoy these holiday snaps.

Speaking of holiday snaps, Your Editor took a few on a recent trip to the far-famed borough (burrow) of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania. Yes, we saw the town's number one celebrity. Phil the Groundhog was sacked out in the library window. I've got the picture to prove it. I didn't get his autograph, but I did get a fridge magnet. Our next-door neighbour the local groundhog has just put in appearance outside, now that the snow has melted. We waved, but he was too busy to talk. Probably trying to beat the Zen Bunny to the fresh greens.

Willem, too, has been travelling. While the Editor found wildlife in the backyard, our South African correspondent has been out in the real backwoods. He shares a glimpse into some very impressive forest. You are sure to be thrilled, as we were.

Awix describes a cinema tip, Maria Edgeworth explains why Irish people talked like that in the 18th Century, and a lonely cubesat warbles in orbit. What's not to like? Try your hand at the quiz, it has pictures. Remember to write: send us Stuff, work on your next Guide Entry, and send something to Create. Instructions below.

And keep smiling this week!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
