The shadow on my wall

a monster diguised

looks on me as I dream



Am I Amphitrite

watching from beneath the water?

Or jealous Medea

Waiting to enchant the unwary?



Shall I cry for company

limbs disarranged in fitful sleep

a head full of thoughts that should not be there



As I dream

The earth turns

sweeping us onward



a fragment of light

is caught by my eye

one blissful moment!

I think I see you.
