QED 2

1 Conversation

This week in QED all you have to do is reveal the mystery of the Rhyming Riddle. The answer could be a simple word, a phrase or something rather obscure. If you can work it out, then let us know.

If you would like to send your answers to us here at smiley - thepost we will give
you a mention in next week's edition. An email address has been handily provided for you below the
questions.

Reveal the Riddle of the Rhyme

Read carefully the following rhyme

Each line is a clue so take your time

And try to work out the answer though hidden

Don't despair you'll find it, it'll come at your bidding

This is not going to be a short poem nor do I think sweet

Hints lie in a few phrases, the whole complete

Each word will have meaning though not all the same

Perhaps in reading this some understanding you will finally gain

Ordinarily the next line wouldn't make any sense

Some meaning to this madness, don't just sit on the fence

The time for understanding is surely coming to you soon

Each line brings a clue, to the rhythm get in tune

Very shortly I'm sure you'll begin to understand

Every line starts differently on a plate I'll not hand

Reach deep inside for the meaning if all is not clear

You never know when it will hit you, then the answer you will share

Though time for you is running out, as this poem closes

Hurry you must to work out the meaning is no bed of roses

Under and over and inside and out

Really trying very hard is what it's all about

So don't delay, look closely and truly see

Do start at the beginning as in the B

A wonderful discovery you will soon make your day

You can finally smile, as the secret of this poem comes your way
