The h2g2 Poem

A bundle of money which has been chained and padlocked

Money

Money makes the world go round,

But will it make it stop?

The banks have gone into meltdown

Spending has almost stopped.

We are told to keep on buying,

Despite the harder times.

The government rescuing companies

And trying to be kind.

But can our credit culture

Last this little blip,

Or will we go back to yesteryear

And save up bit by bit?

This time of crunchy credit

Has got us in a tizz.

But we must tighten out belts.

With stiff upper lip, and just get on with it.
