Wherever I may wander
Hi, I'm Dave – the new kid on the block here at H2G2 Towers. I'm a foreign exchange student from the USA working with Anna, Peta, Sam, Mark and the rest of The Digital Village team this semester here in Covent Garden, London, UK.
I'm finally starting to get the hang of the London Underground, but I still wind up looking like a tourist among the buskers, flashers, gropers and rush hour commuters – many of whom look as though they rinsed with vinegar instead of mouthwash that morning.
Originally, I'm from Pittsburgh, PA, but Athens, OH has now been my home for over a decade. I'm a junior journalism major at the University of Missouri where I'm learning to accurately report the news, digest dorm food, etc.
Apparently, the goal of h2g2 is to create a guide so unbelievably comprehensive that every concept, word and punctuation mark in every entry is cross-referenced to another entry on the site. In my time here, I'll see to it that h2g2 moves closer and closer to that goal. Cheers!
