Let's not mention the football

Oh, ok then, we will! England were given a sharp lesson in how to snatch defeat out of the jaws of success and my orange neighbours celebrated their draw with Germany as if they'd won 5-1! There must have been some pretty heavy hangovers the next day. I was the only one wearing an English shirt (more friendly than the '**** Football' one I wore last Friday) at Het Kasteel and found the mood infectious. I have to work there tonight immediately after the next English game so I am rather hoping that I will have something to applaud - plus I want to annoy them all by playing my football anthems cd again.
