Comings and Goings

Congratulations go out to our Temporary Deputy Editor, Broelan who had to cede her pre-bought tickets to see the Hitchhiker film in favour of delivering a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations also go to The Aces for the sterling work they have been doing welcoming the huge influx of new members.

As you may expect, a fair amount of this edition is dedicated to the new movie. The general consensus seems to be pro - with one or two reservations. The BBC are taking full advantage of the renewed interest and are airing the original series late on BBC 2. Even better, The Quandary and Quintessential Phases can be heard
on Radio 4 at 6.30pm on Tuesdays with a repeat on Thursdays at 11pm - but not tonight as that 'other' event is taking place. If you are eligible don't forget to drop in at your polling station!

Finally, don't forget that you can still send your artwork in for The Post 2005 Graphic Competitions. We are still very keen to see your fantastical idea of how the old h2g2 Towers may have looked.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
